Just add the pony and you got your show, she was a bad senator when she was in office, I guess she thinks this is a way of making it up to her ex-constituents.
AZ Paul demonstrates his keen awareness of Arizona when he pointed out Gabby’s horrible tenure as a Senator…why, she never even showed up for a vote on the Senate floor! ….wait…
AZ Paul….Your comments are heartless. Good or bad, no one deserves a bullet in the head.
I believe that one would have to be elected to the Senate to be considered a bad Senator.
AZ Paul: you demonstrate your complete lack of awareness about Gabrielle Giffords’ political career when you criticize her performance as a senator. Gabrielle Giffords was never a senator from Arizona or anywhere else.
The Arizona senators during that period were John McCain and Jon Kyl. Gabrielle Giffords represented Arizona as the representative from Arizona’s 8th District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

To all those who don’t have their facts straight:
Gaby Giffords was a Congresswoman for Arizona, not a Senator. She happened to have been MY Senator along with many others in southern Arizona. She was one of a kind when in office. She came down here and talked to average Joes (ranchers on the border along with others) not just rich people. That’s why we all like her.
Did she show up to vote? Yes! Did she try to work with the other side? Yes! (unlike most elected officals today) And she happened to be MY Congresswoman.
McCain and Kyle were both AZ Senators at that time. McCain is still a senator. (too bad – I haven’t voted for that man for many elections now) Kyle has retired.
