Mahjong Monday.
Learn how to play a simplified version of traditional Hong Kong mahjong with the Himmel Park Library community. All skill levels are welcome so if you're a beginner or a mahjong mastermind, try your hand at this ancient game. First come, first serve seating with a limit of 24 people. Dollar Skate Night. There's something so wonderful about the retro feel of slipping on some rented skates and rolling around a rink, disco ball and neon lights in tow. Come show off your moves on the skating rink. $1 admission skate night is at Skate Country, 7980 E 22nd St. 6 to 8 p.m. $4 skate rentals.
