The Tucson Michelada Challenge celebrates its fourth incarnation this Saturday, August 5. Head down to the Tucson Convention Center—260 S. Church Ave.—from 6 to 10 p.m., and experience bloody good times. The michelada, otherwise known as a Mexican Bloody Mary, is a cocktail that combines vodka and beer. $25 buys admission into the event, and $65 buys admission, a souvenir pint glass, front row seating, $10 food voucher and a server. Participate in sampling and judging locally crafted micheladas, and enjoy live Mariachi, folkloric dancing and Luchador wrestling.
