The Wait: Checked in at the Republican Party Fiesta

It's still too early for Pima County numbers to start rolling in, but here at the Sheraton Hotel on Grant Road, the Republican Party fiesta is underway.

Pima County Republican Party Chair Bill Baird is presiding over the festivities and the room is starting to fill up and more expected as the evening moves along. Not far from this shindig is Republican Rep. Martha McSally holding her fiesta at the Viscount Suite.

This is the start to our coverage for the evening reporting from GOP central, as well as the Democratic Party spot at the Marriott near the UA. I'll be back with more tidbits, and look forward to the 8:15 p.m. magic hour when we have some solid numbers to report.

Polls have just closed. Go here to check in on those numbers at Pima County Elections folks start counting.
