The Sheriff's Department is here at the Pima County Republican Party to show support for Mark Napier, candidate for Pima County Sheriff. Napier is running against the current sheriff, Chris Nanos. Napier has been endorsed by both the Pima County Deputy Sheriff's Association and the Tucson Police Officers Association.

According to Curt Greenman, a member of the PCDSA, thinks the Sheriff's Department is broken, and it needs someone who can restore order to the department. "He's gonna bring changes to the department." he said. "Too much bad stuff on the inside of the department. Napier is going to bring in some fresh ideas, and clean house. Morale is really low right now."

Napier was a police officer for 28 years. He was also a commander and a captain with the Tucson Police Department.
