After addressing attendees at the Pima County Republican Election Party, Republican candidate for Supervisor of District 3 Kim DeMarco talked to the Weekly
about her campaign efforts.
"I feel really good and we did everything we could possibly do," DeMarco said. "My district is heavily Democrat and Independent but I made a lot of great connections with the Democrats and Independents."
DeMarco went on to say that it is not really about Republican or Democrat; its about right and wrong and making sure that we get the right person elected.
As of now, DeMarco is trailing to opponent and Democrat Sharon Bronson who had 22,779 votes to DeMarco's 19,051 votes.
"She's a 20 year incumbent. A 20 year incumbent is definitely got the advantage but we ran a good campaign and I think we got it."
