11 Restaurants to Treat Your Mom to Mother's Day Brunch in Tucson

It's time to break open those piggy banks and spend some of your hard-earned pennies on the  woman who brought you into this world. Whether you're like best friends or it's best to spend one day per year together, your mom accomplished the superhuman feat of childbirth just for you, so you can spare a couple hours for brunch—and brunch you shall because here are 11 spots around Tucson where you can treat your mommie dearest right this Mother's Day (Sunday, May 8).

Cafe a la C'art

Moms love museums, so bring yours to the Tucson Museum of Art's beloved brunch spot for an upscale affair. There you'll be treated to an omelet station, prime rib carving station. turkey sausage, smoked salmon, veggie frittata, braised short ribs and more. The buffet is $29.95 per person or $10.95 for kids 12 and under.

9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
A la carte offerings include a Belgian waffle ($6), crab cakes Florentine ($14) and a Venezuelan ham bake with peppadew peppers rolled into housemade bread ($13). A selection of pastries will also be available.

Dishes for Pastiche's brunch are served a la carte with features like baked ancho chicken chilaquiles ($14), brioche french toast with blueberry maple syrup ($12) and grilled Australian lamb loin chops with grilled asparagus and mash ($24 or $18 for a "bistro portion")

North Italia

Slow cooked short rib ($25), diver scallops with sweet corn risotto ($25), roasted chicken ($19) and more top the list of offerings at North's Mother's Day brunch.

Ballroom Mother’s Day brunch will feature an omelet station, farmer's market salads, beef prime rib, pozole, a buffet and more priced at $59.95 for adults and $19 for children.

Carriage House Dim Sum and Then Sum Sunday Brunch offers a range of Chinese-inspired small plates starting at $5 per plate. 

Acacia Real Food & Cocktails

One of your last chances to enjoy Acacia before the restaurant shutters, so why not go with mom. The champagne brunch buffet will be $51.95 for adults and $24 for kids aged 5 to 10, featuring an assortment of baked goods, salads, cheeses, seafood (like prawns, snow crab and oysters) on ice, wood roasted turkey breast with a chestnut-sage dressing and much more.

Agustin Kitchen

This four-course meal offers specials that include calamondin-glazed game hen with preserved lemon, polenta carbonara with house lardons and an arugula vichyssoise. $50 per person and $15 for kids under $12.

Penca Restaurante
50 E. Broadway
Three courses at Penca for Mother's Day offer choices like housemade paletas, crispy skin trout with chimichurri and corn and squash blossom soup. Meals run at $25 for adults and $12 for kids.

Along with the regular menu, specials include a wild mushroom quiche ($11), blue crab omelette ($17) and roasted sea bass with spring peas and creamy cauliflower ($17).

PY Steakhouse at Casino del Sol

10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The casino's steakhouse is offering champagne, an amuse and three courses for moms on Sunday with a menu that serves up oysters, crab-topped huevos rancheros ($35), sous vide filet mignon ($48) and an omelet paired with caviar ($38).
