UPDATE: UA student robbed on campus, suspect found

UPDATE: University of Arizona Police Department has located and IDed the suspect thanks to tips and leads from the public.

No other information is currently available.

The University of Arizona's UAlert text messaging alert system warned students at 4:00 p.m. about a robbery that occurred on campus.

A student was approached by a man who brandished a metal object and then fled from the scene.

The man was last seen heading eastbound from 1st Ave. and Highland.

He is described as a white or hispanic male, 5'10", thin build, and approximately later teens to early 20's. Last wearing a grey hoodie sweatshirt, blue jeans and has cut bottom lip and missing teeth.
