We assume this is yesterday's news, but Lenguas Largas released a new album with Recess Records. The Tucson band (always and forever) is currently on tour, and received some noteworthy praise from The A.V. Club.

Here's their take on Come On In:

Sci-fi garage pop? Art-damaged post-punk? Dope, guns, and fucking in the streets? All of the above might be the safest bet, at least judging by Come On In. The group’s new album, which is being streamed here in full, wraps its weirdness in ragged hooks, then wraps that in blobs of reverb, then, well, wraps the whole glorious mess in some garish textile crocheted out of Roky Erickson’s leftover nightmares.

You can make your own assessment by listening to the full album below:

You catch Largas live at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1 at Club Congress, 311 W Congress St. Click here to RSVP.
