Is The Rock Going to Play Shazam?

Posted By on Tue, Jul 22, 2014 at 11:30 AM

We have been speculating on which DC Comics character Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson should play in a future film. It looks like we'll finally have some closure. Total Film's Josh Winning asked the actor who he would like to play. The Rock has been in ongoing discussion with the movie studio, and it looks like they finally settled on a character. Johnson admitted to toying with the fans and asking them which character would best fit him and his personality.

He says the character has the power of Superman, and to just say the "word." I don't think it's "Fan Boy" or Robin.

Obviously, he's going to play Shazam? All this time we thought he was going to play Black Adam.
