Dalessandro Gets Senate Appointment

The Range predicted yesterday that Annabelle Nuñez would get the appointment to Linda Lopez's vacant Senate seat, but we called it wrong: Today, the Pima County Board of Supervisors picked state Rep. Andrea Dalessandro to fill the District 2 Senate seat. That means that we'll now have a House vacancy that will have to be filled sometime in the next few weeks, so if you're in LD2 and have dreamed of serving in the Legislature, now's your chance!
