191 Toole, formerly Skrappy's, is hosting its first concert next Saturday, Jan. 11 at 4 p.m. There are 11 bands scheduled to play at the Second Saturday all ages show. San Francisco band Cool Ghouls will join The Resonars, Lenguas Largas, Dream Sick, Discos, Best Dog Award, Otherly Love, Hermanitos, Logan Greene Electric, Hip Don't Dance and Riverman for an all night music fest.

There will be food carts, art vendors and giveaways.

The show is free, but consider leaving a few bucks to help out with the remodeling.

Tom Collins, Executive Director of City on a Hill (COACH) and 191 Toole leader, posted some pictures of the work in progress on the Facebook event page. The renovations started back in mid-November, and it looks like the space will appear rough around the edges come next Saturday.

From the Facebook event page:

Although we may still be in rough shape when the show comes around, please just come by and take a look at what we trying to do. Walls maybe missing and some of the flooring may not be pristine, but I am confident 191 Toole will be a big part of Downtown Tucson in the years to come.

The new music space is located on 191 East Toole Avenue.
