Someone shot Santa in the back while a Washington, D.C. news station was covering a toy giveaway. The poor Santa Claus was just waving and shouting "Ho Ho Ho" when someone nailed Santa with a pellet gun, according to ABC7 reporter Kris Van Cleave's tweets.

The Grinch didn't do it this time.

Apparently, Santa is alright and the Police are still investigating whodunnit.
