Obama Interrupted by Heckler's Call to Stop Deportations

Posted By on Tue, Nov 26, 2013 at 10:00 AM

Yesterday President Obama was interrupted by a heckler during his speech on immigration reform in San Francisco. The young man started shouting at the president, "You have a power to stop all deportations." The protester asked the President to use his executive order to stop all deportations to prevent thousands of families from being separated.

Mr Obama told his security detail to leave the protester and the heckler alone before saying to them: "The easy way out is to try to yell and pretend like I can do something by violating our laws.

"If in fact I could solve all these problems without passing laws in Congress, I would do so."
