It's Your Lucky Day Because The 2 Shows You Have To See Tonight Are Down The Street From Each Other

Posted By on Thu, Nov 14, 2013 at 9:00 AM

You’re lucky. I’m lucky. We’re all lucky because there are two great shows happening tonight. One is at Plush on 4th Avenue and 6th Street. The other is at Topaz on St. Mary’s at I-10. So prepare to zig-zag back and forth because you’ll be sorry if you miss either. You have problems? I have solutions.

Problem #1: You’re in love with Matt Baquet. You’re kicking yourself because you missed him playing with Dream Sick last night at the Food Truck Roundup.

Solution: You can see Matt hit drums and sometimes miss cymbals with Prom Body at Topaz. Also on the bill are AZ77, Weed, Otherly Love, and Hellshovel. $5 will get you into this all-ages (beer bar with ID) event.

Problem #2: Zackey Force Funk is moving away and you’re sad. You’re gonna miss him.

Solution: Over at Plush, LABMUNKZink is celebrating the release of their album Almanac. Performers include Defacedproperty, Jivin Scientists, Shaun Harris, Big Meridox, Saer Uno, Emcee Moses, Khatum, Bedphone, and LABMUNKZ. Zackey Force Funk is also performing, and it’s rumored to be his last Tucson appearance before he heads to Los Angeles. $5 will cover both admission and a copy of Almanac at this 21 and over show.

You’re welcome and I’ll see you at both shows.
