In mid-August Doug Stanhope showed up unannounced and hosted an open mic comedy show at Mr. Head's Bar. Stanhope is coming back to Tucson for an extra special performance, but this time his manager Brian Hennigan gave the Range a heads up.

Stanhope is presenting a comedy show on Friday, November 29th, at Plush Tucson, 340 East Sixth Street. The headliner for the evening will be Kristine Levine. Levine has performed at SXSW, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and starred in the popular IFC television show Portlandia. The host will be Tucson's very own Kevin William Lee. Lee help started the open mic comedy shows at Mr. Head's, Plush and recently opened for Craig Gass at the Rialto Theatre. The show will be recorded and the footage will be used for Stanhope's segment on the BBC's television program WEEKLY WIPE.

Tickets are currently on sale for only $25, and I'm fairly confident that seating will be limited. Click here to buy your tickets before they sell out.
