Spooky Halloween Shindigs Happening Tonight

So you went to Party City or some temporary Halloween store and bought your costume that you will wear for one night of costume contests and debautury. Now what? 

There will be an all ages show at The Rock, 136 N. Park Ave. The headliner of the evening will be Kill Devil Hill. They will be joined by Black Water Rising, Eyes Set to Kill, Dirtnap, We Killed The Union, Stay N The Fight and Blacklidge. There will be a costume contest and the winner gets $250 cash prize. I know you geeks like to drink. There will be a Beauty and The Geeks Halloween Party with musical performances by Blind Divine and Shrimp Chaperone at Sky Bar, 536 N. 4th Ave. 21 and older and there's no cover. Click here to get all the details.

Just because it's Halloween doesn't mean there won't be an Opti Club at Club Congress. There's going to be a there will be a group/couple costume contest and winner take all. The special guests will be Jaime J. Soto, DJ BOBFELIX (HOT ERA), DANH Opti Club), CRYSTOBAL (PlayBoi) and Ashuta (HOTERA/OWLS) mixing music all night. There's a $5 and you get an Opti Card. Looking to twist the night away? Head down to the 5,6,7 Wax-Spook-o-Rama at La Cocina Restaurant, Cantina, and Coffee Bar
201 N. Court Ave. There's going to be giveaways,  dance and costume contest. The theme is favorite 50, 60, or 70's icons. There's a $3 cover charge. I can't wait to see how they dress up the beautiful outdoor venue for this event. RSVP here.

There's going to be a free concert featuring Big Merdiox, Garboski VS Brass Hands and Horse Black at Mr. Head's, 513 N. 4th Ave. No costume contest or fancy gimmicks. Just good some local bands doing their thing on the spookiest night of the year. Proceeds from the bar go to help the lovely Emmy Cooper with her recovery.
