AZ Illustrated Politics: Uhlich vs. Buehler-Garcia in City Council Forum

Posted By on Mon, Oct 7, 2013 at 5:00 PM

Friday's AZ Illustrated Politics featured what's likely to be the only major televised debate between the candidates running for Ward 3 Tucson City Council seat, incumbent Democrat Karin Uhlich and Republican challenger Ben Buehler-Garcia. I asked them about ways to improve the city's business climate, where to find money to fix streets, whether the City Council should do more to pursue the F-35 combat jet and whether the Tucson City Council made a good decision by requiring background checks on all firearm purchases at gun shows.

You can read more about the Ward 3 race in this week's feature story.
