The Shins Are Coming to the Rialto
It's been awhile since The Shins (which are essentially James Mercer and some other people these days) have visited Tucson...I feel like they were here in 2007, but the last show I can find was at the Rialto in 2004. Feel free to heckle me in the comments if you know of one more recently.
Anyhow, the Portland-based indie rock act is coming to the Rialto Theatre on October 3rd, and while that seems like a lot of advance notice, I would imagine the show will eventually sell-out, so consider yourself warned. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 am.
