The Shins Are Coming to the Rialto

Posted By on Tue, May 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM

It's been awhile since The Shins (which are essentially James Mercer and some other people these days) have visited Tucson...I feel like they were here in 2007, but the last show I can find was at the Rialto in 2004. Feel free to heckle me in the comments if you know of one more recently.

Anyhow, the Portland-based indie rock act is coming to the Rialto Theatre on October 3rd, and while that seems like a lot of advance notice, I would imagine the show will eventually sell-out, so consider yourself warned. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 am.

BONUS: Read Eric Swedlund's review of the newest Shins album, Port of Morrow, from our March 29th issue.
