Chris Conover and Andrea Kelly moderated an one hour forum with the candidates in CD 8 special election. Early ballots go out tomorrow, but there’s an additional debate on the calendar sponsored by the Star, May 23rd, at the Tucson Jewish Community Center.

I’m pretty sure Barber is as big a phoney as Kelly but I just can’t prove it…..
At the Arizona Illustrated “debate” between Democan Ron Barber
(D-heirapparent), Republicrat Jesse Kelly (R-Butt-Ignorant) and Green
party candidate Charlie Manolakis, Charlie completely and consistently
outclassed the other two talking heads of the Duopoly.
By honestly speaking Truth to power, by Occupying the debate instead of
spouting memorized soundbites, Charlie set both of the candidates of the
Status-Quo back on their heels for the entire broadcast. His responsive
answers even caused the moderators to pause a couple of times in obvious
amazement that a candidate had actually provided a responsive,
intelligent answer to a question.
I urge every person of good will to vote for Green
Candidate, Charlie Manolakis for Congress in the CD8 special election!
I agree with Bob Cap. The Dems should have picked Charles Manolakis, he is heads above Ron Barber. Ron Barber even stole some of Charles Manolakis’s ideas and he didn’t let him with away with it. Charles is younger and smarter and more intune with Congresswoman Giffords.
