Barber Reax: Farley Abandons Congressional Run, Now Running for State Senate

Posted By on Mon, Mar 19, 2012 at 2:41 PM

State Rep. Steve Farley, who last month announced his plan to run for Congressional District 2 later this year, says that with Ron Barber now in the congressional race, he'll go back to his original plan of running for the Arizona Senate.

"I'm doing everything I can to help (Barber) out in the fall and I'll do anything he thinks would be helpful," Farley says. "I'm going to focus back on the Senate race in District 9 and see if we can retake that majority."
