Listen to This Electric Guest Song

Posted By on Fri, Jan 20, 2012 at 1:00 PM

Electric Guest are a group that seem poised to be a big deal. LA taste-maker station KCRW featured one of their songs as a "Top Tune", their debut album (coming out on April 24) is on cool kids label Downtown Records and is produced by Danger Mouse. Also, Asa Taccone from the group is the brother of Saturday Night Live writer Jorma Taccone, and he wrote the music for the classic Digital Shorts "Dick in a Box" and "Motherlover", which are certainly intended to be jokes, but actually have some solid musical chops as songs.

Electric Guest are scheduled to play Club Congress on March 20th as part of the annual "Let's make some money on our way to and from SXSW" portion of the Tucson concert calendar.
