It's Time for KXCI's On Air Festival of Holiday Music

Posted By on Mon, Dec 19, 2011 at 4:30 PM

If you enjoy holiday music far better than the crap on endless repeat on 94.9, you'll want to tune in to KXCI today from 5 to 9 pm for the 10th annual Sonic Solstice Broadcast, hosted by Laurie Starr and Matt Milner.

Here's more information from the station:

KXCI invites you to tune in to KXCI from 5 to 9 pm on Monday, December 19th for the 10th Annual Sonic Solstice. Starr Tracks Host Laurie Starr and Locals Only Host Matt Milner will preside over the festivities blending the ghosts of Sonic Solstice past by interspersing selections from 10 years worth of holiday recordings along with the present live broadcast of some of Tucson's favorite artists. It's the one holiday party you don't have to leave your house for.
KXCI's Sonic Solstice hearkens to an earlier time when people gathered 'round the radio for wholesome entertainment. We'll have drummers drumming and strummers strumming!

There'll be great visuals at KXCI's historic Armory Park two story brick house with decked halls and lots of great sounds with lots of local musicians.
