In December of last year, I wrote about Victor Shamas, a UA prof in the psychology department. Read it here. He is the author of The Way of Play: Reclaiming Divine Fun and Celebration.
This semester, he is co-teaching an honors seminar at the university entitled, "Innovation and the Creative Process." Students in this seminar will be presenting their final projects from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29, in McClelland 208a.
Shamas writes, "The format is much like a science fair, with individual stations for each presentation. We have some very off-beat and intriguing presentations this year, including one student who has been posing as an altruistic superhero named 'The Incredible Help' and another who is turning the entire University of Arizona campus into a giant hopscotch course."
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, email Shamas at [email protected].
