There's still time to enter Tucson Weekly's first-ever "Show Us Your Pitch" competition, where you can win the chance to throw out the first pitch at Thursday night's Tucson Padres game! Details here.

Speaking of the Padres: Our beloved Triple-A club is in its final homestand at Kino Stadium this week. We've got games through Sunday, Aug. 28, with a whole mess of promotions all week long, including tomorrow's Social Media Night, where you get $1 hot dogs, $2 tickets, $2 beer and 20 percent off at the store—just as long as you say the secret word you'll find on the T-Pads' Facebook page. On Thursday, beers and sodas are just a buck and on Saturday, they'll be shooting off fireworks after the game. Details on tickets, times and whatnot here.
