Fourth of July Fireworks!
Happy Independence Day from your pals at the Tucson Weekly!
If you're still trying to figure out where to see fireworks tonight, here's the lowdown:
1) The Convention Center: watch the 15th Annual A Mountain Fireworks from Parking Lot B, of the Convention Center. Cost is $5/person.
Or you can start early with a picnic along the Santa Cruz river walk. The paved walkway extends north from 29th Street, starting right next to the Pima Federal Credit Union. Views across the Santa Cruz up to A Mountain should be pretty awesome (thanks for the nod).
2) The Tucson Padres Baseball Stadium: Come watch the Padres play the Reno Aces at 7 p.m., followed by a blowout Star Spangled Spectacular Fireworks Show. For tickets, call 434-1367 or click on "tickets" on the top of the Padre's website or visit the Kino Stadium Box Office.
