Phoenix to Host Greatest Concert in Bearded Hipster History

I'm generally not inclined to announce concerts in Phoenix, mostly because I hate the idea that our evil cousin to the north might have the opportunity to enjoy something we don't in Tucson, but a bill featuring Pitchfork-endorsed Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes (who sold out their show here in May), and the Walkmen is a pretty big deal. Sure, you'd have to drive to Phoenix, but Comerica Theatre is a nice place to see a show, and downtown Phoenix isn't quite the pit of despair that it once was.

Tickets go on sale Friday, but if you "like" promoter Stateside Presents on Facebook (and if you enjoy concerts, you probably should anyway), they're promising a presale code to cut in line and get tickets on Thursday. The rumor that ticket prices are double for men with beards is likely false.
