Montana Avenue at 6390 E. Grant Road is closing, and another Zinburger will be opening there. This is all expected to happen in mid-August, when Montana Avenue closes for a week while workers do the old swaparoo.
Tucson is fast becoming one burger-laden city. Recent years have brought two Monkey Burger spots, the gigantic Lindy’s at Redline Sports Grill, multiple In-N-Out locations, Carvel’s and several Five Guys Burgers and Fries spots. Eat-a-Burger, a downtown food truck, is also opening a restaurant right across from the main library downtown.
But, hey, burgers are good, so bring it on.
Both restaurants are owned by Fox Restaurant Concepts, which also owns and operates North, Blanco Tacos and Tequila, Wildflower, Sauce and some other restaurants up in the big city up north.
Zinburger has made an especially good run of it lately, though, even opening a location out on the East Coast.
