Joey Burns of Calexico performs at the second annual Festival en el Barrio Viejo

The second annual Festival en el Barrio Viejo ended with a bang with a performance from Calexico. A plethora of local and national musicians joined in on the performance, including iconic local artist Salvador Duran and the far-out Robyn Hitchcock. Calexico and friends blew minds last night. If you missed the show, or if you want to relive last night's performance, be sure to check out this slideshow featuring photographs from UA journalism students Josh Morgan and Keith Hickman-Perfetti. The song is Calexico's cover of "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" by the Flaming Lips.
