Don't Forget: Guerrilla Girls Tonight at UA

Posted By on Tue, Mar 8, 2011 at 4:16 PM

Don't forget, the Guerrilla Girls will be at the UA tonight, for a discussion and performance from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Gallagher Theater in the Student Union:

The Guerrilla Girls are feminist masked avengers in the tradition of anonymous do-gooders like Robin Hood, Wonder Woman and Batman. They use facts, humor and outrageous visuals to expose sexism, racism and corruption in politics, art, film and pop culture. Their work has been passed around the world by their tireless supporters. They will talk about their work, their philosophy of activism, and their campaign against the appalling lack of ethics in the art world.
