According to a press release today, "Arizona civic leaders respond to the tragic events of January 8th by promoting a more civil and respectful tone in our nation’s public discourse" by coming together for a bipartisan press conference today at 3 p.m. at the Old Pima County Courthouse.
In the aftermath of the attack on Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, her constituents and her staff, Republican and Democratic elected officials from Tucson and throughout Arizona are joining forces to push one simple message: “We commit to promote a civil discussion of the issues we face.”
