A Few Fundraiser Updates

Two area Texas Roadhouse restaurants will be hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Christina Taylor Green Fund. The events will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. at both Texas Roadhouse restaurants in Tucson: 170 S. Wilmot Rd. and 8450 N. Cracker Barrel Rd.

Off-duty Pima County Sheriff’s Department deputies will be on scene volunteering their own time to help the wait staff to serve customers. They will be accepting tips and donations which will benefit the fund. In addition, Texas Roadhouse Managing Partners Sean Moloney and Marilee Goettel will donate 10% of all sales on that day to the fund.

Pump It Up, the indoor inflatable bounce house facility in Tucson is hosting a fundraiser that will benefit the families and victims of the recent Tucson tragedy. For a $7 entrance fee per child, guests can enjoy a Family Jump Time where all proceeds will go towards the Tucson Tragedy Victim Fund at Pima Federal Credit Union.
