File Under 'Duh': Voters Who Like SB 1070 Like Brewer

Posted By on Tue, Nov 2, 2010 at 7:48 PM

The Associated Press is reporting that according to Arizona exit polls and other polls, fans of SB 1070 are also fans of Jan Brewer.

Meanwhile, Terry Goddard does well with Latinos and people who dislike 1070:

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer scored well Tuesday among voters who support the state's controversial new immigration law and feel that most illegal immigrants should be deported, according to an Associated Press analysis of preliminary exit poll results and pre-election polls.

More than three-fourths of people who strongly support the new law favored Brewer, a Republican, over Democratic opponent Terry Goddard.

Goddard won over nine out of 10 voters who strongly oppose the new law and nearly three-fourths of Latino voters.
