Election 2010: AG Candidates Debate on Arizona Illustrated

Posted By on Sun, Aug 8, 2010 at 4:52 PM

Tom Horne and Andrew Thomas, the Republican candidates for Arizona attorney general, debated on Arizona Illustrated on Friday, Aug. 5. This has been one of the most brutal of the GOP primaries this year, with Horne saying that Thomas has abused his prosecutorial power as Maricopa County attorney by going after politicians and judges that oppose him and Thomas saying that Horne is secretly too liberal for the job. Both themes were hammered home in the debate.
