Per a press release:

The Dreamzappers is the first in a series of gift books to be released one per year. The second book, The Fine Arts of Life, was recently released. Both books are available at the Barnes and Noble site by special order or at various independent booksellers throughout Tucson.

Wise says, "These days our lives have become so hyper-connected and layered that we've lost sight of the beauty and simplicity and simple truths." In that vein, she tries to illuminate motivating truths through her creations of literary and graphic art. All D.R. Wise books carry positive messages. Each year a portion of the profits goes to a cause that benefits man or the planet. Last year's donation went to a charitable organization that aids homeless veterans.

A talk, "Looking at Life Through Art-Colored Glasses", and a book signing introducing D. R. Wise's latest release,The Fine Arts of Life will take place on Sunday, June 6, at 2 p.m., at Borders, 5810 E. Broadway Blvd.
