Tucson's 12-Minute Makeover

Posted By on Wed, Jan 6, 2010 at 2:32 PM

Time to tidy up, Tucson.

On Tuesday, Jan. 12, city officials are asking residents to step outside for 12 minutes at noon to clean up where they live, work, learn and play—whether it's a front yard, playground, ball field, sidewalk, parking lot or alley.

Participants will be asked to dispose of litter in their own recycling containers or in proper recepticles. The goal of the clean-up is to encourage community pride.
