So This is What a Movie Filmed in Arizona Looks Like

Posted By on Tue, Dec 8, 2009 at 2:51 PM

As the No. 4 site for news on the upcoming Arizona-filmed movie Piranha 3-D, we've got aerial photos of the gigantic "tank" that was used earlier this summer in Lake Havasu City for the controlled water shots.

With a cast that includes Elisabeth Shue, Richard Dreyfuss, Christopher Lloyd and Ving Rhames, it's the best of the B-list for Arizona. Let's hope it's better than the version that James Cameron directed. While we're much too far away to make out any CGI piranha, we're pretty sure that we can see Dreyfuss' Ford Taurus next to the lake.

Special thanks to the Tucson Film Office for passing these along.
