Mike Hein Visits Arizona Illustrated Tonight

Posted By on Wed, Apr 29, 2009 at 10:26 AM

Former City Manager Mike Hein will be Bill Buckmaster's guest on KUAT-TV's Arizona Illustrated tonight. We don't expect any bombshells—Hein does need to find a job and it doesn't look good to be badmouthing your former bosses when you look for work—but we'll be tuning in to see what he has to say.

The show airs at 6:30 p.m. on Channel 6.

In a related note: Rob O'Dell reports that the City Council has taken the first step toward raising bus fares. When Hein proposed this last year, Ward 3 Councilwoman Karin Uhlich led the charge to shoot it down, accused Hein of playing games with budget figures and threatened to fire him. Now she supports a slightly modified hike in fares.
