A Project White House update: You’re making your voice heard! Votes are pouring in from across the nation in the battle for the Tucson Weekly Readers’ Presidential Endorsement over at Project White House Central Polling Headquarters.
In the Republican race, Frank McEnulty has brought out the troops to take almost 75 percent of the vote, with Sean “CF” Murphy trailing in second place with about 18 percent. The early voters have not been won over Charles Skelley’s economic campaign, with Skelley in single digits. Can the Skelley campaign change its message in some way to capture the hearts and minds of the late voters?
Meanwhile, in the Democratic contest, sleeping giant Leland Montell has captured nearly half the vote. In second place: Sandy Whitehouse, with about 30 percent. Despite her aggressive campaign and a solid appearance in the Tucson Weekly/Access Tucson/Project White House Dark Horse Presidential Candidate Debate 08 earlier this week, Libby “Doctress Neutopia” Hubbard trails with just 8 percent of the vote.
