Go, Dorados!

Posted By on Wed, May 9, 2007 at 3:46 PM

Congrats to the Canyon del Oro Dorados baseball team. The Range got out to see the Dorados--including nephew Taylor Nintzel--fight back to overcome the No. 1 seeded Amphi Panthers 9-8 in the state Class 4A Division I quarterfinals last night at Hi Corbett Field. The Dorados play Sahauro at Tempe Diablo Stadium Friday for spot in the state championship .

Details from the Star's Casey Crowe here, but we we're still astonished by Dorado Dylan Cota-Robles's two-run shot out of the deepest part of the outfield. Go, Dorados!
