Breaking News! Not Really!

Posted By on Fri, Jun 9, 2006 at 4:48 PM

We here at Weekly World Central just received a news release, compliments of the Patty Weiss for Congress Campaign. The headline:

FDR Granddaughter Throws Support to Weiss in CD 8 Race

Wow. I am just on pins and needles waiting to see who Warren G. Harding's grand-nephew endorses!

This is, by far, the dumbest political press release I've seen in a loooong time. And that's saying something.

And, I must point out one more tidbit: This release was snagged by my junk e-mail folder.

How amazingly appropriate.
