Kari Lake, the former Phoenix TV news anchor who is now a Trumpette seeking the Arizona governor’s office, is a big proponent of America First and Arizona First. If you watch Lake in action, you’ll see a cold-blooded candidate who spreads lies about the 2020 elections and delights in cruel attacks on undocumented immigrants, schoolteachers, healthcare workers and anyone she perceives as being on the “The Left.” Given her approach, it’s not hard to understand why she’s the GOP front-runner.

But Lake doesn’t always practice what she preaches. At an October candidate forum, she said Arizona “needs a governor who is going to bring manufacturing back to Arizona.”

“We’re going to build it in Arizona,” she said. “We’re going to hire Arizonans. And we’re going to buy Arizona products.”

But when it comes time to buy campaign swag, Lake seemed to prefer buying it from Honduras, as the above photo of a $40 (!) Kari Lake T-shirt shows.

Team Lake did not respond to a request for comment about buying overseas shirts rather than finding an Arizona manufacturer.

Maybe she just couldn’t find T-shirts made in the USA—unlike her GOP primary opponent Matt Salmon, whose much more affordable $25 T-shirts are made in the USA.

It’s not so surprising, given that her role model had trouble finding U.S. manufacturers as well.

  4. We lost because someone cheated! It wasn’t because the true republicans voted for some who doesn’t praised communists. You losers are always trying to come up with a reason your candidates didn’t win. Maybe it’s the constant onslaught on people due to their ethnicity. This is why I hate both parties….it just a constant whiny blame game.

    Mr Nintzel briefly had a repeat article up on this website – making light of two Republican candidates for the US Senate who spelled ‘Tucson’ wrong. Certainly, a stupid unforced error by the candidates he called out.

    This publication also called out President Trump when he misspelled ‘coffee’ on a tweet.

    Why not call out our current oval office occupant, who:

    Called for support of Iranian people instead of Ukrainian people during SOTU.

    Cannot pronounce the name of his SCOTUS nominee correctly (did he even bother to wake up from a nap and meet her).

    Forgot the name of his Defense Secretary and the nickname of the building he works in.

    I can go on and on.

    Hi level hypocrscy is the norm for the Weekly.
