Tonto, political cartoons like this go back hundreds of years. The ones that lambasted Abe Lincoln were vicious.

With this cartoon tho, I am not sure of the point.
Is Elizabeth Warren being a racist because she – being a very white women – appropriated Native American culture? Conversely, if anyone pokes fun at her for appropriating Native American culture, are they the racists?
If I decide that I am something other than the race that I am and someone pokes fun at me, is that racist?

The cartoon is alluding to how Trump and his Republican Party is misguidedly smearing Senator Warren as Pocahontas. Misguidedly as the Good Senator does host a touch of Native American blood, yet never tried claiming minority status to get ahead in her career.
But never let the truth get in the way of a good baseless smear. Right?
