I suppose there’s room to be skeptical of anyone running for president who starts a set of ideas with the phrase “I don’t have facts to back this up, but I happen to believe…”, but in case you were wondering, suddenly popular Republican Herman Cain thinks people should stop blaming banks and just get themselves jobs.

If you are unemployed you have some fault in your own unemployment. There are jobs out there, I’ve helped several friends in the last 6 months find jobs. You just have to look hard, network and be open to all posibilities. Too many people in this society are lazy and dont put in full effort. They feel entitled to a job and a job should just fall in their lap. I’m sorry, but in rough times you need to look harder and interview better. Get off your couch every day and look (online, drive to business areas and hand out your resume)
