The true tragedy in the photo…isn’t that they are mocking us, the sad thing is…Florida is friendlier to business than Tucson is.

That is funny…if Florida wants to let people into their state that aren’t legal…that is their choice. Adhearing to the law is not racist.
First, the sign is funny.
Second, if you feel the state is ran by racist, then they currently have the authority of the law on their side. As the saying goes,”if you don’t like a law, then change it, don’t break it.”
The stupidity in that sign is off the charts. Lol! AZ is not against anything Mexican. We have more authentic Mexican culture here than most states in the union. However, the brainless continue to confuse enforcing our laws against trespassing into our state with racism. …Ridiculous!
I am from Arizona. I am a bit annoyed by this whole keep out anyone who isn’t a US citizen mentality. Do you know that the Yuma lettuce farmers had to advertise in Oregon for pickers this last year because there weren’t enough people able to come across the border to do the job? All I know is this: My family has been on this land for thousands of years and those former Europeans who want to keep Mexicans from coming over and picking your produce need to ask themselves how in the world that is fair? It isn’t racism, I agree. It’s stupidity.
First of all Devon, I have friends trying to come to this country legally who have to spend close to $10,000 just so they can come here plus get put on a waiting list for anywhere up to 5 years. All anybody in AZ is asking for is for people to respect the laws of the country and the state. Secondly, all the Yuma lettuce farmers had to do was sponsor people to come here on a work visa. It is not all that hard to do, my wife did that when she came to this country. Lastly, there is no stupidity about it what so ever, it is only enforce the “Law Of The Land”. One more final thought for you. If you think we are bad, you should see what the Mexican government does to illegals in their country.
If people support a law written by a white supremacist and pushed through the AZ legislature by a neo-nazi, it doesn’t make them racist. Stupidity doesn’t quite explain it either. Refusing to understand that immigration hurts no one, in spite of the evidence, is willful ignorance, a kind of wishing you were somehow different than you really are. But if people can see how it is all the way from Florida, it is no wonder they mock us.
