This guy deserves to have his ass whooped by a female. This not what Christians do, perhaps he belongs to the weird cult the Westboro Baptists?
I learned from a Cheech & Chong record (the one with the ginormous rolling paper in it) when I was a kid that there was a passage in the good book that stated: Judge not, and ye shall not be judged.
I find it hilarious that Cheech & Chong seem to know more about what Christian values are supposed to be than this loose nut. Amen!
Taliban.
The Taliban do not want girls, women to go to school.
The Taliban do not want any female to have the freedom to leave the house unescorted by a male relative.
The Taliban want women to wear covering clothing.
The Taliban will not let YOU fly a kite, or listen to music.
They want control. This guy is Taliban.
Okay, here I am re-guessing myself once again. I actually think that comment actually came from “Trippin’ in Court” which was on the eponymous Cheech & chong debut album. Either way, both are classic stoner humour. Toke up, listen and enjoy.
The Cheech & Chong routine in question is “Streets Of New York Or Los Angeles Or San Francisco Or…” from their 1972 album, Big Bambu (indeed the one with the ginormous rolling paper inside).
No RJ Fletcher, I was correct with my correction. It is said in “Trippin’ in Court” when the attorney presents his defense of Stoner to the Honourable Judge Leslie Dykes. I confused that with “Streets of…” at first also because of the musings of the guy who used to be all messed up on drugs and gave that up to be all messed up on The Lord. It’s funny how that statement could easily fit in the “Streets of…” though. We both placed it there when thinking back.
Or, maybe “this guy” could be an Orthodox Jew, Gandalf?
Which is another group of “true believers” that holds similar repulsive, demeaning attitudes toward women.
The problem, it seems to me, is any religion that’s dominated by men is a crock of poop, because the Taliban and the Orthodox Jews believe that any women caught in adultery should be stoned to death.
Which, of course, does not apply to the men who wrote the rules in the Torah and the Old Testament.
And, you betcha, I know I’m stirring things up here with this comment.
