I saw Avenue Q in New York about 3-4 years ago, and will most likely see it next week in New York again (because Wicked was sold out — damn!). I have to say Avenue Q was the best musical I’ve ever seen. I freaking hate most musicals (though Bat Boy was very good). I’m not in any way associated with the show in Tucson, by the way, but if you have a chance to see it you should. It’s ideal for anybody who grew up watching Sesame Street or enjoying the Muppets.
I am kind of down on the mix of the Larry Craig press conference and Avenue Q because it mixes something I like (Ave. Q) with something lame and scandalous.
