I’m a little befuddled by the recent success of Kreayshawn and her track “Gucci Gucci”, but it seems that she’s going to bring a whole posse with her into whatever minor circle fame she’s stumbled into. V-Nasty, seen earlier this year leaving jail, explains her interesting position on racial politics and plugs her forthcoming album.

At some point watching this video, I felt like my parents must have when I was obsessed with Public Enemy in 1989…a thousand years old.

In case you want more, here’s V-Nasty in action:

The editor of the Tucson Weekly. I have no idea how I got here.

  1. V-Nasty and Kreayshawn’s music will hopefully be short-lived. Its ridiculous that MTV and radio stations actually play this stuff, its trash as far as I’m concerned. People will just go along with whatever they hear on the radio these days, which is a little sad to me!

  2. Why you worrying about Kreayshawn and V-Nasty who are about to disappear in a puff of smoke. Checking out the real deal, Kaos Monroe on YouTube and her righteous video called Kreayshawn Gets Fried. For real.
