So, it’s come down to the last day of the official Dick Cheney Photoshopping Contest. I am sure we’ll be flooded with entries today, considering that three members of our blog-comment family promised they’d enter, but have not yet done so. (*Ahem.*)
Thanks again to Max V. for his inspiring entries. I look forward to seeing the rest of them. And remember … a cool prize awaits the winner. Seriously!

Slackers indeed. Red Star finds it odd yet tasty that this is finally a lame duck administration. The magic of time passing. Funny how it does that, a blessing in disguise? Though the Dick Cheney Photoshops are fun, they are more than slightly delinquent. The infamous Cheney/Rumsfeld shot, a bestest blast from the past (not Photoshopped because there was no such thing and why would you back then…you might think of it as the anti-Photoshop) is about to be shipped off to mailbag@tucsonweekly.com
Three members – who was that?
Anyway I did want to say–
Bob’s Deli is gone??? FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF! I wanted to try that place after driving by it so many times. More than once past closing time I told myself I’d give it go but never did so during business hours (or I simply wasn’t hungry for a sandwich and didn’t want to be a lookie-loo). I feel like I missed out on something… Bobalicious. At least I still have Bison Witches, Baggins and Jason’s Deli (that chain makes a mean po’boy)
Read up on it closing in this week’s Skinny, and frown at the landlord
Also, I’m glad for the articles on cyclists being hassled on the road (I can empathise) and the cover story on our packed hospitals.
