Rasmussen delivers a new poll on how well Democrat Rodney Glassman stacks up against U.S. Sen. John McCain and his Republican challenger, J.D. Hayworth:
Both contenders for the Republican Senate nomination have widened their leads over Democrat Rodney Glassman in Arizona’s U.S. Senate race.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Arizona shows incumbent Senator John McCain picking up 57% support to Glassman’s 28%. Nine percent (9%) favor some other candidate, and seven percent (7%) are undecided.
Former Congressman J.D. Hayworth, who is challenging McCain for the GOP nomination, earns 49% in a match-up with Glassman. Thirty-three percent (33%) prefer the Democrat. Nine percent (9%) of voters opt for some other candidate, and another nine percent (9%) are undecided.
This article appears in May 13-19, 2010.

Jim Nintzel’s focus on Rasmussen polls tends to reinforce, that is to say, tacitly legitimize, the money-grubbing system.
Oh, Red Star, I report most of the polls that cross my desk, whether it’s PPP or Rasmussen or Research 2000. And, as you’ll note at the end of my last dispatch, I point out that Rasmussen was way off on the sales-tax survey they did last month.
That said, you’ll appreciate the note at the end of the next dispatch on the Rasmussen survey on the GOP gubernatorial race that’s due out shortly.

Fun never stops…
This is why I’m supporting the only candidate who can galvanize the Latino vote, Randy Parraz!
The only candidate that can capture the imagination of a majority of Arizonans, as well as the entire country is Independent Democrat John Dougherty, a former (long-time, Arizona) investigative journalist.
http://www.JohnDougherty2010.com
Please remember that it was John Dougherty who broke the story of McCain’s involvement in the Keating Five.
The very same issues involved in the Keating Five scandal were preeminent in the financial meltdown two years ago in America.
Dougherty’s background is deep and broad. He is well-versed on the issues that matter to Arizonans today, including (but by far not limited to) the need for comprehensive immigration reform, renewable energy and other environmental concerns.
Without a doubt JD Hayworth or John McCain will win. so anyone…ANYONE who thinks that some other liberal, democrat, or progressive “independant democrat” will win, no matter what minority they galvanize is incorrect PERIOD. AMERICANS want the aliens out! the TEA PARTY will surge in Arizona and back Hayworth making it tight for McCain, in the end republicans will vote for Hayworth if need be. Liberal types are in for a rude awakening.
